Applicable to all sales on The Greenland Store. You must read these terms and conditions carefully. When placing an order through the website, you will be asked to confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions entirely.
What is usually written in small print ….
We live in the Arctic, far from normal infrastructure and without many supplier options, but we try to live up to the standard practices for shipping and service as expected in the rest of the world. We hope our customers understand that free shipping is not an option, and that we have chosen to produce and/or export some products with Greenlandic design from somewhere closer to the customers to save on the carbon footprint.
Of course, we guarantee the quality of our products, but once we have shipped an item, it is out of our hands and we can’t take the responsibility for how delivery service works worldwide.
What we can do is choose the best available mail and parcel services and use tracking to make sure everything reaches our customers.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to any products you purchase from our store, and any orders from The Greenland Store that you place through our website.
These Terms and Conditions apply regardless of how you access the website, including via any device by which we make our website available to you. If you do not agree to these, you should not order any product(s) through the Greenland Store.
Placing Orders and Secure payment
To place order(s) you pay by credit card and / or any other payment method provided on our page.
The Greenland Store does not collect and store personal information. As such we have no access to customers’ private payment information as purchases are made exclusively through the international payment gateway.
Completion of checkout online constitute our acceptance of your order.
Our agreement with you will start when you receive the order confirmation email and remain in place until the day you receive the products.
If we for any reason can’t supply you with all of the products you ordered, we will inform you of this by email, and refund you in full for the missing item(s) by sending you a transaction receipt right away. Beware that the payment gateway and banks involved can use up to two weeks transferring your money back.
During the checkout process, you will be asked to enter your payment details. By completing payment details you confirm that the card being used, belongs to you, or is in your care, is entered into with any credit or third party provider.
We do not have and/or store your payment information, that is solely between you and your card provider. This make it possible for us to refund back to the card used, should that be necessary for any reason.
We take full payment immediately for all products and thus not utilise instalment payments. Card payments will be subject to authorization from your card issuer.
Products ordered remain the property of The Greenland Store until we have delivered them to the shipping address specified by you.
Timescales and charges for delivery vary depending on weight of the products ordered, your delivery address and country, and the delivery services available. You’ll find full details of our shipping here.
Delivery will be to the address specified in your order.
We shall be under no liability for any failure to deliver products if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Delivery duty and taxes
The Greenland Store products are sold on the basis that delivery duty is paid. However, You, as the recipient, may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees that may apply according to local legislation, will be your sole responsibility. This fee is not in our control so please check with your local customs office directly. It will be your sole responsibility, where applicable to comply with any import / export control or sanction rules applied to products supplied to you.
Delays, cancelations and changes
We will make every effort to keep you informed should supply of your product(s) be prevented or delayed for reasons beyond our control.
We shall be under no liability to you for delays or failure of products being delivered.
